My 360 is dead

Just signed in to download the roster update this morning and my 4th 360 finally shit the bed. It's been over heating for a month or so and this morning i finally got all 3 red rings. I'll be calling Ms later today, looks like this ones going on a trip.
Depening on what kind of a deal i can get I may go pick up a new one so I can stay in the league. I'll post an update later today.

My 360 just died as well. I sent it in and got it back in less then a week and half. The turn around is very quick.

Damn, these 360 problems still are way too frequent.

Mine does the same thing. The good news is when I play NHL 09 it seems to be so quite I forget it's even on.

Yeah, I forgot about Fable 2. It did look really fun, and I like the idea of it. But there's no way I can get all three, so I'd put them in this order.

Although I might choose 2K9 over Fable 2, simply because Fable seems really time consuming. Anyone play Oblivion? if you have you'd understand why Fable 2 might take alot of time.

Fable: The Lost Chapters took up a lot of my time. I thought Fable was a funner game than Oblivion, but Oblivion was much bigger. Hopefully this Fable actually lives up to Peter Molenoux' hype. Anyone interested in Fallout 3?

I wish i could get into rpg games but i'm usually all sports and some shooting games (cod4 only)

I try not to descriminate against the games I play. I LOVE sports games, always will be my favorite, but others deserve attention too. Fable is a Action/RPG, it is definitly not a old school RPG or anything. Another RPG I would like to try is Eternal Sonata. Half-Life 2 is good, Blacksite Area 51 was a decent game if you don't take it seriously, Bad Company is a fun game. One of the funnest sports games I have played recently is Top Spin 3, that game is a challenge and fun. The point where it starts clicking, the aiming, shot selection, power, it all makes sense and starts working, that is an awesome feeling.

I love the online idea of Fable 2, if you get it paul it would be cool to play online. I guess little orb looking things float around, that represent players on your friends list playing Fable as well. And they have cool "pub games" that you can play, I'm not sure what they are but it's like mini games where you can bet money for your character, it looks pretty cool. I just think people assume RPG's are for nerdy kids, but overall Fable, Oblivion, etc... are the most fun non-sports games to play. Don't get me wrong I love me some Halo 3, but the creators of RPG's usually go all out in the interest of making good games. It's not like Madden where they jerk you around, and cut a little off the top. You guys should check out the free Fable videos on the dashboard, ignore some of the "nerdy" people who created it, and look at it soley for the gameplay, ideas, and features.

I am pretty sure I am getting it, along with Ben, my roomate. The orb idea is pretty cool, hopefully you can just push a button and start playing with someone. The pub games look ok, I dont think I will spend much time with them except to make money. I would agree with you, RPGs get a bad rap sometimes, and the fact that Fable 2 is thought of as an RPG doesnt help it. I would say it is an Action/RPG/Hack-n-Slash/Adventure game. I know this thread took a different direction and that's fine. I just want to post and update on my 360 situation. The one that died is going to be sent in for repair and I bought a new one last Tuesday so I would not have to drop from the league. So I'm am good to go. When the dead one comes back I'll have a back up 360.

Wow, my Xbox quit today. Hopefully it is still under warrenty or I might now be able to get one for a few weeks. Now no one other than me is allowed to touch my things, because they always end up broken. 2 controllers, xbox, dvd player, and a speaker have all been broken in the last month thanks to my worthless unemployed roomate and my worthless unemployed brother.

that's what happens when you feed them, they move in and break your belongings I'm on my 3rd now, and this time it outlasted the warranty, so I hope that it can keep working, because I would'nt have the money to replace it. I hope you can fix yours, because your 25% of the league, good luck.
